Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Greeting all visitors, offer beverages and directing them to the relevant office/personnel.
  • Carrying out all clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes and presentations, incoming outgoing mail.
  • Coordinating and managing appointments, meetings, and the conference room schedule in order to prevent duplicate bookings.
  • Performing bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and budget tracking.
  • Maintaining general office files, including job files, vendor files, and other files related to the company’s operations.
  • Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and furniture with manager approval.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities (office, breakroom, restrooms, etc.) and equipment (printer, HVAC, etc.).
  • Keeping office space and breakroom clean, including loading/unloading of dishwasher, maintaining, and organizing breakroom cabinets.
  • General hospitality duties to include offering beverages to guests, ordering food as needed for meetings.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is professional and efficiently performed.
  • Other related special projects and duties as assigned.
  • OSHA compliance and Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, in warehouse.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be situated in the warehouse. In the on-site setting, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in this work environment may be moderate to very loud.
  • Required to be at the Arizona Training Facility Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Following open and closing procedures as needed.
Administrative Assistant Qualification/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in an administrative/office management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Must be a self-starter and driven
  • Must be able to lift 25 pound

  • Field Applications Engineer

    The Field Applications Engineer will work to support our team of technicians and our customers to maintain our fleet of solar trackers. They will be responsible for keeping our fleet operating at 100% by monitoring for faults and working to dispatch the resources necessary to fix the faults. They will also be responsible for supporting commissioning of new projects – both remotely and on-site. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who has excellent communication and troubleshooting skills and wants to dive into real, everyday solar engineering problems. Your work will directly result in existing systems working more efficiently and producing more energy. We offer a solid base with significant bonus upside.

    Roles and responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
    • Provide remote support for Commissioning Technicians and O&M teams
    • Use data from the Genius Tracker system to monitor for faults in the system
    • Handle incoming RMA requests from customers and work with them to resolve faults
    • Work with production and logistics team to make sure materials arrive for repair work
    • Interface with Genius Tracker system with SSH and TCP python scripts to send commands and get data
    • Keep records of faults in the system and use them to inform development of the system
    • Travel to site to train technicians or accelerate timelines
    Skills and Education:
    • Strong Communication skills: Mastery of written and spoken English required
    • Strong Troubleshooting skills
    • Strong ability to instruct people on technical issues
    • Experience with programming (Python, C) – automation experience a plus

    • Knowledge of solar industry and worksite protocol preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
    • 2+ years engineering experience preferred
    • Will prioritize candidates that are eager to learn and passionate about solar/renewables

    Business Office professional attire when in office setting. PPE and GCS attire for onsite visits.

Our products are designed to be the fastest installing and most cost-effective in the industry. We are currently looking for a superstar Office Manager to join us in our Norwalk, CT Headquarters.

    Office Manager Responsibilities:
    • Greet visitors
    • Answer phones, forward calls, take messages
    • Plan and order breakfast and lunch for the Norwalk office every Thursday
    • Receive and distribute packages and mail
    • Order office and kitchen supplies
    • Stock kitchen and keep the office tidy
    • Act as the face of the office and point of contact with building management and employees
    • Oversee equipment office repairs and maintain a good-working environment for employees
    • Work closely with HSE Manager maintaining office safety protocols and yearly inspections
    • Provide office tour, key fobs and parking passes for new on site employees
    • Organize equipment return from terminated employeesOverseeing office moves, reshuffles, furniture placement, and upgrades to environment.
    • Prep space as needed for specific meeting types (e.g. onsites, trainings, leadership meetings, events, and manage conference room schedules
    • Maintain company-wide organizational chart
    • Assist with HR data projects as assigned
    Office Manager Qualification/Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required
    • 3-5 years of work experience in similar role
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional and friendly demeanor
    • Solid computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
    • Highly detailed with outstanding organizational and time management skills
    • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritize
    • Must be a self-starter and driven
    • Office relocation experience a plus
    • A high degree of integrity and discretion; able to maintain the confidentiality of private and sensitive information
